Turtle Dome is a group of five geodesic domes arranged to form the shape of a turtle.  The turtle is a sacred animal in First Nations cultures, as the beginning of earth was supported on his back.  Similarly, the Turtle Dome supports the First Nations people as an administration building, childcare and education facility, and for assembly purposes. The unique design and use required care in designing the space and equipment and was a unique and interesting project.
