1000 Cedarglen Gate in Mississauga was a thirty-year-old apartment complex laid out in a townhome style with an underground parking garage.
Our client converted this building into a condominium which incurred significant engineering design review and site restoration to meet current building code requirements. This conversion was one of the earlier conversions in the city of Mississauga.
TESI worked closely with the owner and contractor and the city to ensure all the site and civil, electrical and mechanical, and building envelope requirements were met. Significant repairs included balcony restoration, leakage repairs, cladding repairs and site safety issues as well as developing the initial Reserve fund plan.
This project established TESI’s holistic approach based on sophisticated Reserve fund planning. The Corporation maintains high unit values and limited sales.
